In-laws Are Here!

Jay-ar's mom and dad are here. His mom came first then after a week, his dad followed. Been going everywhere since then. Hehe. First, we went to Sunway Lagoon. Dad was not yet with us. He has work so he will only be here in KL for almost 2 weeks. He'll be leaving for Manila this coming Wednesday then next week, it's our turn! Can't wait!

Then after Dad came, we went to Singapore. It was a very hot and tiring trip. For 2 days, it was sooo sunny. It was better though than rain. Kylie got a little bit tanned. We were there only for weekend. Then I was on MC the next Monday coz my whole body was aching. Also, did not get enough sleep in the hotel. When I feel so tired, I find it hard to fall asleep. During first day, the whole day we went to Sentosa. We watched the Songs of the Sea. I thought Kylie will like it but I was wrong. Guess she's too young to appreciate things like that. She was just either playing with her toys or drinking her milk during the show. The oldies enjoyed it though. Yeah, they are old enough to appreciate this kind of stuff. LOL.

2nd day, we met with out friend Anna and her fiance, Joey. We ate chili crab in East Coast and after that, went to Merlion for some picture taking and just did some city touring. It was very hot so we decided to end the tour early and headed to the airport. Singapore was so crowded. MRT was all packed. Mind you, it was weekend and MRT was so full, what more during weekdays where people go to their offices. Even Sentosa was so crowded. It was just an ordinary Saturday when we went there yet there were so many people. What do we know, the small country has increased its population already. But this gives me second thoughts on moving in to Singapore.

Btw, look at my Kylie. She has six teeth now. And she's starting to walk now. Hopefully on her 1st birthday, she's walking all by herself already.

Last Saturday (Black Saturday), we went to Aquaria KLCC. I know it's not right to enjoy during Black Saturday but we have to make the most of my in-law's stay here. So there. Hope we're vindicated. LOL.

It was the first time Kylie ride on a ride like this yet she knows already how to enjoy it. She was turning the wheel, pressing all the buttons in the car, stand up and sit again. She didn't want to leave that ride. Then I told myself, 'Kylie is really entering the toddler phase. She likes these rides already!'

Yesterday, Easter Sunday, while Jay-ar was working (they have production roll out), the whole fam stayed @ home doing nothing. I supposed to have a lunch date with teammates because our former boss will be leaving HP already. Then it was moved to Dinner then it was moved a little later to just chatting. It was late already so I was not able to join. Should I had known that I will not be able to join this farewell thingy, I should have went somewhere else (like a mall) with the in-laws so that one day of just being at home was not wasted.

Oh well, one more week, then this coming weekend, last minute shopping before going back to the Philippines! And oh, I hope our visa gets renewed before this trip or else, we are in big big trouble. My agency is such a pain in the a**. SERIOUSLY!

Ta-ta for now.

Bukit Tinggi Trip

I had this conversation with Jay-ar's friend.

JF: Natuloy ba kayu sa Bukit Tinggi?
Me: Oo.
JF: Edi natagtag ka? Buong araw ba naman kayu mag lakad.
Me: Oo noh. Pagod na pagod nga ako kakalakad e. Kaya lang matindi kapit ng baby. Nde pa din lumabas.
JF: Ganun ba?
Me:

On a side note: I might give that a try kapag super desperate na ko. Hehehe! Joke!

I saw this from youtube. Natawa lang ako kaya I'm posting it here although am sure super tagal na nito.

Nanganganib

Nanganganib ang aming weekend getaway kasi super busy ni Mr. Suarez at kailangan nya yatang pumasok this weekend. There goes my adventure-filled weekend. Hehehe! Pero oks lang naman. Good thing about this is that I don't need to force myself to wake up very early during weekend.Pwede na ulit mag tamad-tamaran at humilata this weekend. And besides, there's next time naman. Watch na lang kami ng Hancock. Hehehe!

Happy!

Happy tlaga! Then this coming weekend, we are going to Cameron Highlands! Excited na ko. Tagal na naming nde nakapag out of town. Weeeeh!

Today, I received a birthday gift from HP. Actually, matagal na kong ini-email ng secretary to go to HP office to claim it. Wala akong balak claim yun for three reasons:

2. Malamang the gift would be kung anu-anung HP items lang (My PM gave me HP clock, HP shirt and HP calendar before).
3. I don't like HP. Not the office location, not the office, HP mismo! Hehehe!

But then, my good PM got the gift for me and hand it over to my TL ko give it to me kasi nagkita kami sa meeting kanina sa client site. You see, super abnormal para sakin yung situation ng team namin. We have a big team actually. Pero hiwa-hiwalay kami. My PM is usually in HP office, my TL, well I don't know where he reports for work then I am on client side. The rest of the team, yung dev team nasa India. So ganitong setup, parang wala akong ka-team. Loner sa client site. Pangit noh? Hehehe! But anyway, back to story, so my TL handed over the gift to me today after our meeting. I was surprised because it's a 4GIG PenDrive. So nde pala sya kung anu-anung HP item lang. But PenDrive is still an ordinary item right?

But this makes it extraordinary. It has my name engraved on it. Na-touched ako ng konti kasi it's personalized. Hehehe! Sa bahay ko na lang nakita na may naka - engrave pala kasi when my TL gave it to me, dedma lang ako. I didn't show even the slightest amazement. Hahaha!

When I was in Sunlife, kapag birthday ng employees, may card kami from CEO with a gift voucher worth Php300. Hehehe!

Oh well, yun lang ang kwento. Wala akong ginagawa sa office this whole week. Next week, paktay na naman ako. Pero bukas I need to go dun sa isang site ng client (yung remote site, remember?) to support a testing. Asar. Hehehe!

Anyway, I will just upload Cameron Highlands photos soon. Ciao!

Ps. Alam nyo ba na kasing layu na ng Singapore ang Cameron Highlands from KL (5 hours by bus)? O ngayun alam nyo na. Hahaha! Joke. Trivia lang.

Weekend Getaway @ SG

Hey everyone, I'm back here in KL. Hehehe! Anyway, here's the recap of our weekend getaway in SG.

As I mentioned in my previous post, the bus going to SG left KL around 11:30 pm. So that means ang tatak sa passport ko na exit from MY is March 1 na instead of Feb 29. At first, nag worry ako kasi dapat ang exit ko tlaga sa MY is Feb. 29 since hanggang dun na lang valid ang employment pass ko. Pero when I was in the KL immigration, nde naman nagkaron ng problem. Tinatakan lang ng immigration officer ng March 1 yung passport ko pero wala naman sya sinabi and no questions asked. So I was really relieved. Usually, the trip from KL to SG and vice-versa is about 5 hours. 5 hours kapag walang traffic jam.

So we arrived @ SG around 4:30 tapos nakarating kami dun sa service apartment ng agent ko mga 5 am. We just ate a little & slept for a while then around 11:00 am, we went to our fave resto ni Jay-ar sa SG. None other than, No Sign Board! Hehe. We ate our fave Chilli Crab! The best tlaga. Good for 5-6 people ang serving. And only for that order, we paid S$50. O diba, nde sya cheap. Hahaha! Busog tlaga!

After nun, we went to Queensway Shopping Center. I bought a new flip flop slippers. Look at my new cutie Ipanema slippers.

After Queensway, we went to China Town.

I was surprised kasi papahawakan nya sakin yung ice cream tapos bigla nyang kukunin tapos papahawakan nya ulit tapos kukunin nya ulit. As in yung pag kuha nya pa sa ice cream yung tipo parang mala-laglag. Hehehe! Pero in fairness, masarap naman. Hehehe! Yung dirty ice cream din plus a little bit of show bago ibigay sayu yung ice cream pero nde ko pa na-try yun dito sa KL. Hehe!

After China Town, we went to Admiralty to meet some friends of Jay-ar. We went back to the apartment around 12 mn na. We almost forgot about the time when we were in Admiralty kaya muntik na kami masaran ng LRT.

The next day @ 10 am, we went to Lavender where the bus was waiting for us, ready to depart to KL.
Overall, we had fun on this trip. Nakakapagod nga lang but Jay-ar & I enjoyed it.

That's all for now. For more pics, you know the drill... Goodnight!

All My Bags are Packed And I am Ready to Go

Tonight @ 11:30, Jay-ar and I will be going to Singapore because today is the last day that I am allowed to stay in Malaysia. My employment pass with my previous company is only until today and my employment pass with HP is still not yet ready. So I need to exit to Singapore and be back here in Malaysia by Sunday to get another allowed one month stay here. I just hope I will not have any problems in the immigration.

With regard to work... aside from the fact that I am deployed in a remote area and that my teammates are the most workaholic people that I have ever encountered in my entire life, all the rest are okay. In just 2 weeks, I am now starting to do some real work with the team. I wish I can learn the system and the project as fast as possible. My boss is pressuring me to catch up fast. As if!

Will post SG pics and updates soon! For now, got to go... Wish me luck!

Tiara Beach Resort

As promised [yak! feeling.. as if may nag hihintay...heehee], here are our photos taken during our Tiara Beach Resort trip. Anyway, I will not tell stories about our trip anymore. I'll just put caption on the pictures. Hehe! Ang totoo nyan, wala naman tlagang wento. Kaya tignan nyo na lang ang mga pictures and they will be the one to tell the story. After all, photos speak louder than words... errr at least for this post.

This is Jay-ar bow. Hehehe! He joined one of the games called "Rafting". The mechanics of the game is simple. The team will make a raft using 3 logs, 3 ropes and 3 big floaties. Tapos the raft should carry 10 people to the other side of the pool. I think simplier described than done. Hehehe!

Haaay! Kagulo tlaga. Hehehe! Syempre yung raft gawa ng mga amateurs so nde yun masyadong stable and balanced. So there. Hehehe!

Yaaahhhooo! They made it. Hehehe! At yung isa jan, nakuha pang mag smile sa camera... Tsk! Tsk! Tsk! Huy, mag paddle ka! Hehehe!

Mabuhay! Tapos na... Other side na yan ng pool and mind you, this team was the winner in this game! Galing noh!

Since tapos na ang game, we need to relax naman. Haaay! This is life!

Ang title ng movie na to is: Basa sa Waterfalls. Hay, ang corny ko talaga! Hehehe!

The beautiful scenery of Tiara Beach Resort.

Hehehe!

*wink* *wink*

Anyway, for more pictures... as always, just click HERE.

Yawn! Antok na tlaga ko. Until next post. Magandang umaga world! Tulog muna ko. Bye for now...
